Typically, you boil them in plenty of water until they become soft and translucent, then rinse them with cold water. You can soak them in maple syrup to add sweetness. You can also find ready-made bubble tea pearls on store shelves.    <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Prepare the matcha: Sift the matcha into a bowl. Add the hot water and whisk with a bamboo whisk (chasen) or a milk frother until a smooth, frothy paste forms. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assemble the drink: Pour the cooked tapioca pearls into a tall glass. Add ice cubes. Pour in the milk, then gently add the prepared matcha.  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Enjoy!
