Matchawan Shizuka<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Shizuka Matchawan is a unique bowl for drinking matcha and is part of the \u201cchado\u201d tea ceremony tradition. Written in kanji \u201cShizuka\u201d can mean \u201ccalm\u201d and \u201cquiet,\u201d as well as adjectives like \u201cperfect\u201d or \u201cpleasant\u201d, words that closely align with our brand\u2019s philosophy. Shizuka is also a common name in Japan, famously borne by a character from the popular manga and anime series \u201cNaruto.\u201d With the Shizuka matchawan, you can create a daily ritual of drinking matcha that brings you calm and relaxation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n

Matcha preparation in a bowl<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The traditional way to prepare matcha comes from the Japanese Tea Ceremony. It involves using a matcha bowl, a bamboo whisk- chasen and a bamboo spoon- chashaku.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Place 2 chashaku spoons of matcha (1,5g) in a matcha bowl and pour 100ml of hot water (80 \u00b0C). Chasen in hand, vigorously whisk your matcha from the wrist in m-shaped, not circular, motion. In about 20 seconds your bowl should be filled with a perfect jade-green foam. You can add more water now if you like your matcha to be less strong.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
