Matchawan Yama<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Matchawan Yama is a handcrafted matcha bowl made from the finest porcelain. Its name means “mountain”, drawing on the calm, natural forms inspired by the landscape. The minimalist shape and subtle finish make it a perfect companion for your daily matcha ritual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each piece is unique – handmade in a small ceramics studio, so slight variations in detail are to be expected. The low walls and wide base allow you to whisk matcha comfortably and achieve a perfectly smooth, creamy froth using a bamboo chasen or an electric frother.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Matchawan Yama was designed and crafted by Quiet Form, a ceramics studio based in Kyiv, founded in 2016 by artists Tania and Alex. Their work combines a passion for natural forms, quality and timeless design. The bowls are made from porcelain sourced from eastern Ukraine and fired in Japanese kilns at high temperatures, ensuring durability and distinctive character.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n

Matcha bamboo whisk Chasen<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Traditional bamboo whisk or \u201cchasen\u201d is an indispensable tool of the Japanese matcha tea ceremony. The fine, handmade prongs are carved out in a single piece of bamboo. When using a chasen to whisk matcha it is best to keep a loose and relaxed wrist and make rapid zigzag motions in the shape of letter \u201cW\u201d or \u201cM\u201d \u2013 this helps to give matcha the ideal frothy texture. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Matcha bamboo spoon Chashaku<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Chashaku is the traditional Japanese spoon for serving matcha and an integral part of the matcha tea ceremony. The curved portion of the spoon is used to scoop a small portion of tea and place in a bowl (matchawan). The mixture is then whisked to uniform consistency using a bamboo whisk (chasen).
