Ingredients:
- 200g soft butter
- 0.5 cup icing sugar
- 1 tablespoon (9g) Moya Matcha Daily
- 2 cups flour
- 1 egg
Method:
- Start by beating the soft butter with the icing sugar until light and fluffy. Once well combined, add the whole egg and continue mixing until the mixture is smooth and even.
- Next, sift the flour together with the matcha to remove any lumps and create a smooth blend.
- Add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture and mix thoroughly until you have a firm, well-combined dough.
- Wrap the dough tightly in cling film and chill it in the fridge for at least 30 minutes, so it firms up and becomes easier to roll out.
- Once chilled, remove the dough from the fridge, roll it out on a lightly floured surface, and use cookie cutters to cut out shapes of your choice.
- Place the cookies on a baking tray lined with parchment paper, leaving a little space between them. Bake in a preheated oven at 150°C for 20 minutes.
Itadakimasu! Enjoy!
