Matcha energy balls
Matcha energy balls are your new FOOD GOAL. You can whip them up in no time, using ingredients you probably already have at home. Feel free to coat this dessert in whatever topping you like. We're going with chopped pistachios, but you could just as easily try freeze-dried fruit or small pieces of chocolate.
With their round, ball-like shape, these are the perfect match for this summer's Euro 2024. 🙂 Watching the matches with friends or your other half? Surprise them with this unexpected snack. We guarantee they'll love it – and you might even win them over to matcha. 😉

Ingredients:
- 140g ground almonds
- a pinch of salt
- 60g peanut butter
- 70g maple syrup
- 10g freeze-dried fruit (such as raspberries or blueberries)
- 70g shelled, finely chopped pistachios
- 5g Moya Matcha Traditional
Method:
- Place all the ingredients, except the pistachios, in one bowl and mix thoroughly until well combined. The mixture should be smooth and easy to shape.
- Shape the mixture into balls, using around one tablespoon of the matcha mixture per ball. Try to keep the balls a fairly even size.
- Spread the finely chopped pistachios on a plate (or whichever topping you've chosen, such as desiccated coconut, cocoa powder or freeze-dried fruit), and roll each ball in it, pressing gently so the coating sticks well.
- Place the energy balls in the fridge for at least an hour, to firm up and reach the right consistency.
- Store the finished matcha energy balls in the fridge in an airtight container.
