Some recipes are simply lifesavers during the holiday season – quick, impressive, and delicious. This matcha Christmas tree combines crisp puff pastry with a white chocolate and green tea cream, creating a dessert that looks special but takes only moments to make. Perfect for sharing during holiday movie nights, dinners with friends, or cozy December evenings.

Ingredients:
- 200 g white chocolate
- 5 g Moya Matcha Traditional
- 80–100 ml heavy cream (30%)
- 2 sheets puff pastry
- 1 egg
- Powdered sugar (for dusting)
Preparation:
- Melt the chocolate together with the matcha and cream over a double boiler. Spread the mixture over one sheet of puff pastry, then cover with the second sheet and trim the edges.
- Cut out the shape of a Christmas tree, then slice the sides into approx. 2 cm strips. Twist each strip gently. From the leftover pastry, cut out stars or any shapes you like.
- Brush the tree with the egg wash, place the cut-out shapes on top, and brush again. Bake at 200°C (392°F) for about 15–20 minutes, until golden.
- Once baked and cooled, dust with powdered sugar.
