New Year’s Eve Matchatini

The end of the year is the perfect time for small rituals – also in cocktail form. If you’re looking for an eye-catching New Year’s Eve toast, the matchatini is a perfect choice. Creamy white chocolate and intense matcha come together in a combination that awakens the senses and delivers a boost of green energy for a great start to the new year.

Ingredients:
  • 2 g Moya Matcha Traditional
  • 30 ml water (about 70°C / 160°F)
  • 40 ml vodka
  • 20 ml white chocolate liqueur
  • 10 ml simple syrup
  • Ice
Preparation:
  • Add the matcha to a bowl and pour over the water at about 70°C (160°F). Whisk vigorously with a chasen until fully dissolved and a light foam forms. Set aside briefly to cool.
  • Add ice to a shaker, then pour in the vodka, white chocolate liqueur, simple syrup, and prepared matcha. Shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds, until the shaker is well chilled.
  • Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
