KAIYO MUG
The Kaiyo mug is a vessel made of potter’s clay, crafted by hand on a traditional potter’s wheel. Its bottom part is raw and unvarnished, while the upper one is glazed with enamel of a deep turquoise colour. Each mug undergoes the process of firing in an electric furnace at a temperature of 1240°C, which ensures its resistance to damage. The Kaiyo mug is a result of collaboration between Moya and Mruki – a ceramics studio led by Joanna Michalska, who pours all of her heart and passion into creation of each and every piece. Thanks to homely character of the studio, all vessels are unique and refine in every detail.
