The tea cup was handcrafted on a potter’s wheel. It is made from grey clay with a subtle addition of chamotte and coated with a glaze prepared in accordance with centuries-old Japanese tradition. It is intended for drinking loose-leaf tea as well as any hot or cold beverages. It is also suitable for enjoying matcha whisked with a milk frother. The Fuyu cup was created as part of a limited series for MOYA, produced by the Kraków-based ceramics studio KOOE. KOOE pieces are distinguished by their beautiful forms and exceptional durability thanks to firing at high temperatures. Each Fuyu cup is wheel-thrown and hand-glazed, which means it may slightly differ in appearance from the one shown in the photo.
