抹茶マーブルパウンドケーキ
We love an Asian twist in Western recipes, so this time we present a marble cake with matcha and strawberries. It’s buttery, delicate, and filled with the unique taste of green tea. All you need to create those striking green swirls is Moya Traditional or Daily Matcha. The sweetness of strawberries complements the matcha, and their colors match perfectly. These delightful tones catch the eye and make it impossible to leave the cake unnoticed. Whether you’re preparing it for a Sunday afternoon or a party, this Japan-inspired cake will always be a perfect idea!
Ingredients:
- 180g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 300g wheat flour
- 1½ teaspoons baking powder
- a pinch of salt
- 200g sour cream
- 130g melted butter
- 8g Moya Matcha Traditional or Moya Matcha Daily
- 80g strawberry puree
- 25g strawberry pudding mix
Instructions:
Beat eggs and sugar until they make fluffy foam.
Mix dry ingredients. Add beaten eggs and combine. Then add sour cream, stir until combined. Finally, pour in cooled melted butter and mix.
Divide the batter into 3 equal parts. Add matcha to one, strawberry puree and pudding mix to the second and leave the third plain. Stir each one thoroughly.
Line a 25×12 cm loaf pan with parchment paper.
Alternate pouring the prepared batters into the pan to create layers. Lastly, create zigzags with a wooden stick for a more unpredictable appearance.
Bake the cake for about 60 minutes at 180°C (fan-assisted). Cool thoroughly before slicing.
