Yuro Loose Leaf Tea Teapot

The Yuro teapot, designed by Krakow-based studio KOOE, is crafted with loose leaf tea lovers in mind. A built-in stainless steel strainer keeps tea leaves out of your cup, while the ergonomic handle ensures a comfortable pour. Its light grey glaze gives it a clean, minimalist aesthetic – a beautiful addition to your daily tea ritual.

How to use it?

Add your preferred loose leaf tea, brew to taste, then pour into your favourite cup or bowl. The leaves can be re-steeped or composted after use.

What is matcha?

Matcha is powdered green tea obtained from tea plants that are specially shaded from direct sunlight before harvest. This results in higher chlorophyll and antioxidant contents and a richer, greener color. After harvesting, the fresh leaves are steamed, dried and ground to powder in traditional mills. Contrary to regular brewed tea, when drinking matcha, we consume the entire tea leaf and this way we supply our body all nutrients contained in matcha tea including those that are insoluble.
